There are public toilets, a shower & disability-toilet facilities at Rangiwahia.
There are cemeteries near both Rangiwahia & Apiti villages in northern Manawatu as well as plenty of signage.

Rangiwahia Hall, Services and Facilities
  • Rangiwahia Community Hall, 2527 Rangiwahia Road, Rangiwahia. There have been ongoing renovations to this Hall, including a beautifully restored matai floor in the main hall, new window & stage curtains, supper room with heat pump, fireplace and kitchen. ​Ideal for meetings, social gatherings, dances, musical events, funerals and even rustic weddings. The annual ANZAC service is also held by the Rangiwahia Hall. Reasonable Hall Hire fees. 
  • Rangiwahia toilets, including disability toilet with wheel-chair access plus shower. 
  • Shower and disability toilet including wheel-chair access available at the back of the Rangiwahia Hall. 
  • $2 coins ONLY are required to operate the shower.

  • Children's playground and tennis court situated south of the Hall
  • Rangiwahia Cemetery - Situated off Rangiwahia Road on Wairaki Street. Turn off Rangiwahia Road onto Miangaroa Road & continue onto Wairaki Street.There is a water tank at the entrance.
  • Combined Church service held on the first Sunday of each month at  the Rangiwahia Anglican Church south of the village. During the winter month, services sart at 4pm, and 5pm during day-light saving

Public Toilets Aound The Iron Gates Experience.​
  • Rangiwahia Village - Located at the Rangiwahia Hall -  open 24 hours a day. ​
  • Apiti Village - Located next to the Apiti Hall in Apiti on Makoura Road - open 24 hours a day. No wheel-chair access.
  • Mangaweka Village - Located  2 Koraenui Street (corner of Koraenui Street/SH1) adjacent to Papa Cliffs Cafe. Open 7.30am - 7.30pm
  • ​Kimbolton Village - Located south end of the village by the Rugby grounds entrance. Wheel chair access.

  • Manawatu Scenic Route signage - brown signs found along the entire route, including the koru logo
  • Mangaweka Bridge - east side of the bridge
  • Ruahine Dress Circle lookout on Ruahine Road over looking the Ruahine Dress Circle. Includes picnic table.
  • Rangiwahia Hall​
  • Main South Road junction sign - found on Renfrew Road on the way up to the Rangiwahia track
  • Apiti Village sign - in Apiti Village
