apiti hall, Services, Facilities & signage

The Apiti local hall, public toilets and signage are situated in Apiti village. The cemetery is a few kilometers east of the village.

APITI HALL & CEMETERY.
  • Apiti Hall - 10 Makoura Road, Apiti.                                                   The annual ANZAC services are held in the Apiti Hall. It contains a main hall, supper room, kitchen and internal toilet block. and is available for hire.    ​

  • Apiti Cemetery - Turn onto Makoura Road in the middle of Apiti, and when you reach Ridge Road turn right. Drive up the hill and you cannot miss it. ​

  • Public Toilets around The Iron Gates Experience.
  • Apiti Village - Located next to the Apiti Hall in Apiti on Makoura Road - open 24 hours a day. No wheel-chair access.
  • Rangiwahia Village - Located at the Rangiwahia Hall -  open 24 hours a day. No wheel-chair access​
  • Mangaweka Village - Located  2 Koraenui Street (corner of Koraenui Street/SH1) adjacent to Papa Cliffs Cafe. Open 7.30am - 7.30pm
  • ​Kimbolton Village - Located south end of the village by the Rugby grounds entrance. Wheel chair access.

  • Manawatu Scenic Route signage - brown signs found along the entire route, including the koru logo
  • Mangaweka Bridge - east side
  • Ruahine Dress Circle lookout on Ruahine Road over looking the Ruahine Dress Circle. Includes picnic table.

  • Main South Road junction sign - found on Renfrew Road on the way up to the Rangiwahia track
